have you ever seen a blind man walk into a wall? if you could would you stop or allow him to fall? an outstretched hand is the best intention but the touch is what causes prevention one last thought before i leave you cannot avoid what you cannot clearly see
i have been thinking about cliches lately. and it has become my unique obsession to dissect them and understand why they became cliches. the most recent is, "it's the thought that counts." it is somewhat unsettling to me, and i cannot agree with that statement on its own. if it is the thought that counts, then nothing would get done. in my life it has been used as an excuse to pass the buck (another great expression). i love when we people pass to things that are impossibly the problem. there is a beautiful mystery in the thinking-saying-doing process. skipping a step leaves the process incomplete. i may think of a name for the process one day. in this process each step is vital, so maybe i would extend this and say, "its the thought that counts to God, the voice that counts to your enemy, and the action that counts to both."
i feel pretty good about that statement...for now. :)

Love is my role model.
i look up to everything she is about. i cannot always empathize, sympathize, or understand what she does, but i want to be just like her. I will always ask myself, "what would Love do?"
